Prins powers Cyclones to sixth straight win

Iowa State (12-2) grabbed their sixth straight win on Tuesday, knocking off North Dakota 6-7) State 80-51. 

Sophomore center Anna Prins powered the Cyclones with a career-high 22 points and recorded nine rebounds all in just 20 minutes of action. Freshman Hallie Christofferson added 11 points and five rebounds to go with senior Kelsey Bolte’s 13 points and three rebounds.

The Cyclones out-rebounded the Bison 52-20 and outscored them in the paint 40-10.

Saturday, Jan.8 marks the Cyclones toughest game this season as they will travel to Waco, Tex. to take on Baylor. The Bears feature one of the top players in the nation in Brittney Griner and are currently ranked No. 1 in the nation.
