Miranda Shannon, daughter of Kevin and Shelley Rouse, and Eric Shannon, son of John and Denise Shannon, wed on July 10, 2010, in Ruthven.

Miranda Shannon, of Ruthven, is a senior at Iowa State in animal science.

Eric Shannon, of Monroe, is an alumnus of Iowa State with a degree in mechanical engineering.
