UPDATE:

The ISU Parking Division has closed all grass parking lots for the Iowa State vs. Northern Iowa game.

Continued rainfall made grass lots too muddy for vehicles to park safely, according to a news release from the ISU News Service. Fans are encouraged to park on Central Campus or in nearby paved lots and walk or ride CyRide to the game.

Fans with paid permits for Lot G7 will be directed to Hilton lots C-2, B-1 and B-2.

CyRide’s blue route does not run in front of Jack Trice Stadium on game days. The blue route continues along Lincoln Way to Grand Avenue and reconnects with South Fourth Street at Grand Avenue.

Recent rainfall and Saturday’s forecasted rainfall has led the ISU Parking Divsion to prohibit buses and RVs from parking in the grass parking lots near Jack Trice Stadium.

According to a news release from ISU Athletics Communications, drivers of buses and RVs will be directed to paved lots near the College of Veterinary Medicine or closer to Central Campus.

Plans do not call for changes to car parking. If Saturday’s rainfall is more than forecasted, the parking division will re-evaluate car parking.

Flood recovery work around Hilton Coliseum has closed all parking north of Center Drive.
