Shanda Munn, the former ISU student who pled guilty to a Class C felony count of vehicular homicide after a hit-and-run accident that resulted in the death of another student, has been released on parole.

The accident took place after a party December 2, 2005, and resulted in the death of Kelly Laughery.

Munn was sentenced in October 2006 to no more than 10 years in prison and a fine of $150,000.
