‘Daily Show’ correspondent Wyatt Cenac performs Friday

Comedian Wyatt Cenac, most popularly known as part of “The Daily Show” news-team, will perform a free stand-up show for ISU students Friday.

The show is scheduled for 8 p.m. at Stephens Auditorium. Doors open at 7 p.m.

According to “The Daily Show” Web site, Cenac was a writer on FOX’s animated show “King of the Hill” for three seasons and has performed on stand-up shows such as “Comedy Death Ray” and “The Tomorrow Show.” Cenac also appeared at comedy clubs such as the Upright Citizens Brigade and Improv Olympic, performing shows like “Rap Crisis Center” and “The Armando Show.”

Recently he stared in the film “Medicine for Melancholy,” which was nominated for three Independent Spirit Awards.

Cenac joined “The Daily Show” news-team in 2008.
