Two people involved in a Monday night shooting on Northwestern Avenue are still listed in the same medical condition.

Tamela Montgomery is listed as in critical but stable condition, according to a spokesperson for Mary Greeley Medical Center. A spokesperson from University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics said no information was available on Angenaldo Bailey, but Ames Police Cmdr. Mike Brennan said that, as far as he knows, Bailey is still listed as in critical condition.

Ames Police responded to 1205 Northwestern Ave. Monday night after receiving a call from Montgomery, who told dispatchers her ex-boyfriend had shot her. Police found Montgomery with three gunshot wounds to the abdomen and Bailey with a gunshot wound to the head, which is believed to have been self-inflicted. Brennan said in a previous interview that it is believed the shooting was the result of a ongoing domestic dispute between Montgomery and Bailey.
