LETTER: Our plans for ’08-’09 are big, accomplishable

Throughout this past year, we have seen politics on every level take a major change. People want change, honesty and experience. The Fischer-Luttrell ticket brings those ideas to life with our campaign and plans for Iowa State for the 2008-09 school year. Currently, Daniel Fischer serves as the director of government relations for the Government of the Student Body, which gives him a direct voice to legislators and other officials for the university. I serve as the ex-officio city council liaison, where I speak out for students and students’ rights in the city of Ames.

Daniel’s and my plans for the future school year are immense, but accomplishable. We want to push better lobbying efforts for student affordability, educate and engage students about the most important issues that affect students, involve more students in GSB and university/city commissions and unite the city and students for cultural improvements. These are real plans for real students – Fischer-Luttrell are your best candidates and representatives for president and vice president.
