Nevada hit-and-run victim identified

NEVADA &$8212 A woman who died after she was hit by a vehicle that fled the scene has been identified as a 54-year-old Nevada woman.

Police said Dorothy “Jill” Sigler was struck by a vehicle about 9:20 p.m. Friday. She died at the scene. Witnesses told police the vehicle that hit Sigler left the area, but an investigation led to the arrest of Will James Hopkins, 36, of Nevada. He was arrested about 10 p.m. Friday and charged with vehicular homicide, leaving the scene of a personal injury accident and driving under suspension. Hopkins was being held in the Story County jail.
