Public accident, Stange Road (reported at 10:19 a.m.). A bicyclist who left the scene collided with another bicyclist. The latter sought medical assistance for injuries sustained from the incident.

Department information, North Childcare (reported at 11:34 a.m.). A staff member reported seeing an individual break the taillights on his own vehicle.

Medical assist, Union Drive Community Center (reported at 8:28 p.m.). Officers assisted an individual who had taken an overdose of pills. The person was transported to Mary Greeley Medical Center for treatment and evaluation.

Case update, Armory (reported at 2:28 p.m.). On Sept. 8, a woman who identified herself as Melissa Hilbert was cited for underage possession of alcohol. It was later learned that the person the officer encountered was actually Allison Brandenburg, 19, of Cedar Falls. Brandenburg was charged on Sept. 15 with underage possession of alcohol and harassment of a public official; she was released on citation.
