Day two of the Prestige at the PGA West doesn’t get better for the Cyclones

While day two at the Prestige at the PGA West was a slight improvement for the Cyclones in terms of the scorecard, Iowa State still found themselves sitting near the bottom of the leaderboard on Tuesday.

Iowa State sits in 15th place out of 16 teams at the Prestige at the PGA West. The Cyclones shot fourteen-over-par for the day (298).

The Cyclones racked up 29 bogeys and 11 birdies in the second round.

Lachlan Barker led the way for Iowa State in the first round but fell in the individual standings to 27th after a +4 score in the second round. Barker had seven bogeys and two birdies in the second round of play.

The rest of the Cyclones scores are as follows:

Tripp Kinney carded a +13 for the second round and is tied for 69th individually.

Sam Vincent shot seven-over-par and sits tied for 44th place individually.

Frank Lindwall shot +15 for the second round and is tied for 75th individually.

Ricky Costello ended his second round ten-over-par and is tied for 56th in the individual standings.
