The Cyclones returned to home ice on Saturday in a 2-1 loss against the Colorado State Rams. The Cyclones split with the Rams over the weekend after winning 3-0 on Friday.

The first and second period saw multiple scoring opportunities for both sides but neither team could capitalize.

Tyler Nelson scored the first goal of the game following the start of the third period, providing the Rams with the first lead of the game.

With 11:52 remaining in the third, sophomore defenseman Max Olson sniped one in for the Cyclones, tying things up at 1-1.

The Rams regained the lead minutes later with a goal from Christopher Nitchen, moving ahead 2-1.

The Cyclones went on a power play to close out the game but were unable to find the back of the net, losing the second game of the series 2-1.

The Cyclones will be back on the ice next weekend when they travel to Athens, Ohio, to take on Ohio University in a CSCHL matchup.
