Three former Cyclone women’s basketball players were recently cut by their respective WNBA teams.

Stacy Frese- Utah Starzz, Megan Taylor- Minnesota Lynx and Desir‚e Francis- New York Liberty were all released from their teams before the start of the WNBA season..

The cuts left Iowa State with no professional presence in the women’s league.
