Matt Campbell and the Cyclone football team got a jump start on its class of 2021 on Saturday night.

Iowa State picked up a commitment from athlete Zach Twedt. Twedt announced his decision on Twitter.

Twedt is an in-state prospect for the Cyclones — a student from Roland-Story High School, a little over 15 miles away from Ames.

Currently, Twedt is listed at 6-foot-3, 198-pounds. Twedt’s addition marks the first commitment in the class of 2021 for the Cyclones.
