Jill Sobule, The Urge and Sister Machine Gun will headline the first ever DotFest scheduled for Saturday, June 7 at the Ankeny Airfield.

Dotfest ’97 will also host local and regional favorites Billy Goat, House of Large Sizes and Battle of the Bands winner Slipknot. National recording artist Cowboy Mouth is also slated for the bill. The concert festival will be sponsored by KKDM and will include virtual reality games, carnival rides, a Harley motorcycle showcase and a number of food vendors.

Tickets for DotFest ’97 are $10 for 10 bands and go on sale at all Ticketmaster outlets this Friday at 10 a.m. Tickets can be purchased two for one this weekend only.
