Having read two very uninformed “Opinions” by Brian Johnson regarding the hypocrisy of Christians and what they stand for, I have one or two things to say. First, to Brian, read the entire Bible before you pretend to know what it says. An uninformed opinion is not truly an opinion but rather an expression of ignorance. One shouldn’t try to put God where he or she wants God to be, but rather strive to understand who God really is.

Second, there is love and compassion with a true Christian. It is sad to think that Brian has never met one, or had the opportunity to spend some time with one. So much of what is wrong with “Christianity” is what is printed in the media. It is similar to equating all basketball players to Dennis Rodman in terms of their civic impact. The large majority of “Christians” are very active in helping others, much as Jesus set the example for us to do.

Isaiah 9:6

For unto us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders.

And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
