Greek System hosting trick-or-treaters tonight

The Iowa State Greek system is once again opening its doors to area children who want to be in a safe environment to trick-or-treat.

Tonight from 6 to 7:30 p.m., several fraternities and sororities will pair up to put on a fun and safe evening for trick-or-treaters. There will be security in the area — Ash Avenue, Sunset Drive and Gray Avenue — and traffic will be slowed.

The host chapters will also provide refreshments and relaxation for parents or guardians.

This year’s host houses include: Alpha Gamma Delta, Gamma Phi Beta, Sigma Kappa, Sigma Nu, Tau Kappa Epsilon, Delta Tau Delta, Pi Beta Phi, Delta Zeta, Delta Sigma Phi, Alpha Delta Pi, Delta Delta Delta, Kappa Delta, Chi Omega and Kappa Sigma.

Parents or guardians who have questions about the host chapters or locations of the houses are encouraged to contact the InterFraternity and Panhellenic Council Office at 294-2977.
