Editor’s Note: This story will be updated periodically to include the newly announced players to Iowa State’s class of 2019.
The Cyclones wasted no time piling up athletes for their class of 2019. The early signing period opened at 6 a.m., and nine athletes signed before 8:30 a.m.
D.J. Miller
Miller provides some much-needed depth at the cornerback position with the departures of Brain Peavy and D’Andre Payne looming.

Easton Dean
Similar to cornerback, Iowa State loses a couple quarterbacks after this season, too. Kyle Kempt’s eligibility expires after Iowa State’s bowl game, and Devon Moore and Zeb Noland transferred out of the program.
As a result, Matt Campbell scooped up Dean — a big quarterback from Kansas.

Grant Treiber
The Cyclones targeted Treiber to add to the offensive line unit. Treiber is listed at 6-foot-6, 295-pounds.

Iowa State added one of its highest-ranked athletes with four-star running back Brock. The Illinoisan could make an impact immediately.

Corey Suttle
With one offensive lineman signed, Iowa State turned back to the defensive line with Suttle’s signature. Suttle is a 6-foot-4, 250-pound defensive end.

The class added another cornerback with Kelley. Kelley brings a little size, standing at 6-foot.

Iowa State snagged an in-state wide receiver in Porter. The Bettendorf, Iowa native brings good size with a 6-foot-4 frame.

The big wide receiver trend continued with Anderson. The Florida native is listed as 6-foot-5, 210-pounds.

Campbell added in-state offensive lineman Remsburg to the class. Remsburg — a Valley High School product — stands at 6-foot-6, 305-pounds.

Horne plans to boost the linebacker position for the Cyclones during his time in Ames. He’s listed at 6-foot-1, 210-pounds.

Hall joined Brock in Iowa State’s class of 2019. Hall is a little bigger than Brock, listed at 6-foot-1, 215-pounds.

D’Shayne James
Iowa State added another wide receiver with James, a Perry High School product. James is listed at 6-foot-2, 200-pounds.

Iowa State secured another in-state player with Solon, Iowa native Flansburg. Flansburg plays linebacker at 6-foot-1, 230-pounds.
