Iowa State men’s golf to start the season in Minnesota

Iowa State men’s golf team will take part in the Gopher Invitational to start the season. The invitational will began Sunday, September 12 and end that Monday.

The seven teams participating in the event include Iowa State, West Virginia, Michigan State, Georgia Southern, Arkansas State, Miami (OH) and Furman. 

The golf team will look to start the season well and qualify for the postseason for the 10th straight season. The Cyclones have played in the Gopher Invitational twice. In 2013, they finished fifth out of 12 teams and in 2015 they finished ninth out of 16 teams.

The next golf match for the men’s golf team will be two weeks after the Gopher Invitationerhey will play in the Badger Invitational on September 26.
