Senior Sydney Ronald dives into Beyer Pool on Jan. 18. The Iowa State women’s Swimming and Diving team won against Illinois State University with 191-100.

Last year, Michelle Schlossmacher Smith completed the NCAA Diving Championship and she finished 31st in the one-meter dive 236.40., 22nd on the three-meter dive 265.95. and 18th on the platform 391.90.

This year Michelle Schlossmacher Smith had another good performance in the diving championship as she finished 28th with a 215.00 score in the one-meter dive.

In the three-meter dive, Schlossmacher Smith placed 27th overall with a 257.50. score.

Schlossmacher Smith in the platform secured a slot in finals with 197.05 for 14th in stage prelims. With a consolidated score of 397.75, Schlossmacher Smith cemented 14th placed in the platform final.
