Sexual assault reported in Geoffroy Hall
A crime warning was sent via email from Iowa State’s Department of Public Safety on Monday morning after an on-campus sexual assault, occuring in Geoffroy Hall, was reported.
According to the statement, the individual was sexually assaulted and forcibly fondled by an acquaintance on Monday.
“It is a violation of university policy to engage in sexual activities without affirming consent,” stated the crime warning.
The university encourages students who have been sexually assaulted to report the incident to Title XI, located at 3410 Beardshear Hall, or to file a complaint to [email protected]. Resources are available through ACCESS.
