BREAKING: Ames PD make an arrest in armed robbery investigation

The Ames Police Department has arrested and charged Domoh Domoh, a 22-year-old resident of Ames, Iowa, with the offense of first degree robbery, following an investigation.

At 4:27 a.m. on Nov. 17, law enforcement responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Kum & Go situated at 4510 Mortensen Rd. 

According to the store clerk, the suspect was identified as a six-foot-tall black male wearing a black coat, face covering, white shoes and a sizable cross necklace. 

The suspect allegedly pointed a handgun, demanding money from the clerk. The suspect then allegedly fled on foot, heading north from the store. No injuries were reported.
