Tsang: On the current crises

The whole Western world was awakened when Lady Angela Merkel wept over the photo of a Middle Eastern boy whose corpse was found lying on the beach of the Mediterranean Sea.

She instantly received Middle Eastern refugees and even exhorted other members of the European Union to do the same. Following the Hamas attack against Israel on Oct. 7, pro-Palestine protesters in Europe and North America blamed Israel for her revenge in Gaza.

Surprisingly, no unanimous condemnation was voiced on Hamas for their killing and kidnapping of civilians on Israeli soil, even when babies were found being beheaded.

The protesters demanded the evacuation of Israelites from Gaza as well as the independence of Palestine. The attitude of the United Nations (U.N.) is ambiguous. Moreover, scholars and politicians in the United States rebuked Israel’s inhumane revenge.

In fact, Israel alone cannot manipulate the veto to oppose Palestinian independence and  Israel has never been labeled “terrorist.” But in return, the terrorists swear to eliminate Israel from the map.

America had dropped two atomic bombs on Japan to end World War II, which destroyed Hiroshima and Nagasaki—these two cities were not military bases.

Why have no nations ever called the United States terrorists? War does not follow logic: it is an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth. Suppose the United States did not join World War II, the Japanese may have become the official language in most of Asia, and in Europe, people would be greeting each other with their right hands up, five fingers pointing to the sky, saying, “Sieg Heil Hitler” instead of “Hello, how are you?”

The attacks on Sept. 11, 2001, plus the Oct. 7, 2023 attack on Israel by Hamas, both give the Western world a warning that their lands will eventually be Islamized.

Without serious awareness of potential danger, the United States allows the flow of illegal intruders via Mexico, among them terrorists and criminals. Fentanyl has killed hundreds of thousands of Americans each year.

Issues such as abortion, LGBTQ+, BLM, Antifa and intruders sneaking into America from the South all cannot improve the quality and quantity of the population.

The unrestricted flow of illegal intruders from the south is destroying the harmony of society. Perhaps Joe Biden’s optimistic wish is to have these alien groups of people thank and vote for him in the coming presidential election. But how to settle then is the present headache.

Relocating them from border states to New York and other states/cities is not the solution. Is it possible to send them to Puerto Rico?

What worries me is that the terrorists will expand their population, brainwash their people with the idea of Jihad and train them how to combat and kill those against their belief. They teach how to make bombs, spread hatred and produce a beautiful picture of the future to their children that the whole West will be Islamized.

While America was concentrating on the Russia-Ukraine war, the Israel-Hamas battle broke out unexpectedly. Can the United States handle another war in Asia? What if there is a China-Philippines conflict, or if China attacks Taiwan, or North Korea attacks South Korea?

In order to prevent the possibility of World War III, Russia must be disintegrated into separated nations. No doubt, Russia is now on the weak side, but North Korea, China and Iran are on their side.

Meanwhile, in the Middle East, the capability of Israel’s military power is sufficient to maintain stability. In Asia, China is facing financial crises; the banking system collapsed as many Chinese cannot withdraw their money from the banks, the real estate market is in free fall and there is instability within the military. All these factors are no secret, as disclosed by the media. Therefore, at this moment, China cannot afford to arouse any war other than skirmishes with her neighbors. The top priority is to kick out Russia from Ukraine.

Due to the impotence of the U.N., particularly China and Russia are holding two pieces of the veto. America has the liberty to bypass this club ( i.e. the United Nations) as initiated by Donald Trump.

In a presidential campaign debate, Biden pointed out that Russia is the top danger, whereas Trump said China. Both had underestimated Iran, whose military power can compete with the present Russia. Once Russia fails in the war with Ukraine, there will be a few years of peace.

This reads like if you gave any major news agency 2 minutes free reign to attract customers. The problem is not these hot button issues you mention, the problem is the sensationalism of every single world event. China is not collapsing, the U.S. is not being overrun with criminal aliens. Ukraine is no better than Russia, we are not being Islamified. It’s strange how you rightfully claim we committed terroirs acts in Hiroshima and Nagasaki, and then go on to regurgitate every single sentiment the U.S. needs to continue this cycle of war and bloodshed. We must look less at the trees and see the forest.

refreshing to read comments which point out the consequences of allowing uncoltrolled immigration from nations opposed to everything the US still tries to stand for. Thank you
