Iowa State University is hosting a Wellness Retreat scheduled for 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. March 28 at the Multicultural Center. The retreat is organized by the Iowa State Memorial Union’s Workspace. It’s designed to be a simple opportunity for students and staff to take a break from their daily routines and work whilst practicing self-care.
At the event, attendees can visit DIY stations to make wood bead diffusers and sugar scrubs. All materials will be provided at the Workspace, though supplies are available only while they last.
In addition to craft activities, therapy dogs will be at the event. Visitors are free to interact with them for stress relief.
No registration is needed for the event.
