The Iowa State Rodeo Club will host the 62nd Cyclone Stampede Rodeo on Friday and Saturday. They plan to have over 250 competitors from around the Great Plains region come to Ames to perform and compete in the rodeo.
The rodeo will begin at 7 p.m. Friday and at 1 p.m. Saturday, with championship rounds at 7 p.m. Saturday. Adult tickets cost $20, kids tickets cost $10 and there is also a $35 weekend pass bracelet. The event is free to all students who present a valid ISU student ID. All tickets can be purchased on site.
The annual Cyclone Stampede Rodeo has been a club tradition every year for over 60 years. It is the last student-run rodeo in the United States and will be held at the Hansen Agriculture Student Learning Center at 2508 Mortensen Road.
