On a quiet Tuesday evening, as the light softens over Reiman Gardens, the gardens take on a different kind of magic.
This is when Rover at Reiman begins. From 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., the day slows, and the paths fill with people and their dogs. Wandering side by side through a landscape that feels almost dreamlike. It’s a simple but special experience, strolling the paths and sharing the space with other dog lovers.
As April continues, the gardens fill in with color, including more than 45,000 tulips and 25,000 daffodils. There are also hyacinths and other spring blooms. Because everything blooms in stages, the gardens change from week to week. This makes coming back more than once enjoyable.
One of the standout features to check out while you’re there is the butterfly wing. It’s a nice place to pause and take the garden in from a different perspective while hanging out with butterflies. Across from the butterfly wing, you can see butterflies hatching from their cocoon.
Beyond evening walks, the gardens also offer opportunities to slow down in a different way. A yoga event invites visitors to practice among the blooms. This event combines gentle movement with natural settings. Surrounded by tulips and spring flowers, the class creates a calm experience that feels different from the pace of everyday life.
Whether you’re visiting for a quiet Tuesday evening with your dog or looking to unwind during a yoga session, April is a great time to experience Reiman Gardens as everything comes into bloom.
