Iowa State boosted its depth at heavyweight with Oklahoma State’s Ethan Andersen announcing his transfer to the Cyclones. IAWrestle was the first to report the news.

Andersen, a former two-time high school state champion at Southeast Polk, will move closer to home with the transfer.

Andersen redshirted in his first year at Oklahoma State, and as a redshirt freshman, Andersen compiled a 16-5 record at four tournaments.

At Southeast Polk, Andersen tallied a 184-14 record with two state titles.

Iowa State had a hole to fill at heavyweight with Marcus Harrington electing to forgo his senior season.
