Iowa State adds a three-star defensive end to its class of 2019

Iowa State football added its ninth commitment to the class of 2019 on Monday, as defensive end Corey Suttle announced his commitment on Twitter.

Suttle, a Jefferson City, Missouri native, has a three-star composite ranking according to 247Sports. With his three-star ranking, Suttle is also ranked the 21st-best prospect in Missouri and the 70th-best weak-side defensive end.

Iowa State was the only Power 5 conference team to offer Suttle as of Monday, but the Missourian also held offers from Northern Iowa, Wyoming, South Dakota State and three other schools.

The Iowa State 2019 recruiting class currently features four defensive players and five offensive players.
