Ames Chamber of Commerce announces changes in staff responsibilities

The Ames Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development Commission, or ACED, announced changes in some of its staff responsibilities in a press release sent out May 1. 

Six staff members were named along with the changes to their positions, but the rest of the chamber and commission will retain their current positions and responsibilities, according to the press release. 

Sarah Buss currently provides leadership and sponsorship for events like the Ames Main Street Farmers’ Market. Her new title is Director, Events and Sponsorship, according to the news release. 

John Hall currently serves as the AEDC Director of Marketing, but has since become the Executive Director, Nevada Economic Council, and provides economic development services to communities in Nevada, according to the news release.

Andrea Hammes Dodge now serves as Vice President. Her role includes providing strategy development to the Chamber and oversight on programming, overseeing marketing and serving as staff liaison to the Ames Foundation, according to the news release.  

Drew Kamp has served in a dual role in the organizations, working with business retention and expansion and public policy, according to the news release. His new title is Director, Business Retention/Expansion and Public Policy. 

Brandon Munn manages membership and development in the Chamber, according to the news release. His title has been changed to Director, Membership Development. 

Calli Sandahl manages social media and oversees marketing for both the AEDC and the Chamber, according to the news release. Her new title is Director, Digital Marketing.
