Former Iowa State receiver Allen Lazard was thought to be essentially a lock to get selected in this weekend’s NFL Draft. Mock drafts cast a wide net, but he was largely considered to be a fourth or fifth round selection in the seven-round event.

Instead, Lazard, the school’s leader in career receptions, career receiving yards and single-season touchdowns, went undrafted.
