The second goal came from Anderson again with the assist coming from Mike Cacciato in the second period. The third and final goal for Robert Morris came in the second period as Nicholas Gnagni found the net with 4:30 left in the second period.

During the first two periods, the Cyclones weren’t able to generate any goals making it a 3-0 lead for Robert Morris heading into the final period.

Iowa State came out firing in the third period and were determined to keep their season alive. About four minutes into the final period, Tony Uglem found the net and the first goal for the Cyclones. Then, about three minutes later, Trevor Sabo scored the second goal for Iowa State.
