Former Iowa State point guard Monte Morris (2013-17) was named in a Yahoo Sports exclusive report about potential college basketball violations.

The report, released early Friday morning, details money paid by sports agent Andy Miller, his associate Christian Dawkins and their agency, ASM Sports.

While some players are listed as having received thousands of dollars from ASM Sports, Morris allegedly had a meal with Dawkins. From the report:

“There’s nothing wrong with meeting with an agent,” said Atlanta-based lawyer Stu Brown, a veteran of representing schools and coaches in NCAA compliance cases. “But then it becomes a question of who pays for the meal.”

With the investigation still ongoing, it is unclear what repercussions may follow for teams or players involved.

Morris left Iowa State as the school’s career leader in assists and steals. He was selected No. 51 overall in the 2017 NBA Draft by the Denver Nuggets.
