It’s that time of year to begin the long process of finding a great place to live for next year. This can be a troublesome time for some, but luckily the Daily is here to help. Below is a step by step guide on picking your apartment for next year.

Step 1:

Log into your Access plus account, the username should be your student I.D number found on your Iowa State card.

Step 2:

After logging in, click on the student tab on the upper right hand corner and make your way to the left hand side to select the campus housing link.

Step 3:

After clicking on the link you will be presented with two options, make sure you select the Fall 18-19 contract. After this you should finalize your contract for next year, once you have completed your contract you should have access to choosing where you want to live.

Step 4:

When you have access select the “search assignment” tab. From there you will have the option of choosing from the three apartments run through the University. The options listed are Fredrickson Court, Legacy Tower and University Village apartments.

Step 5:

From there you have the option of picking where you wish to live, although it is first come, first serve and students previously living have to option to renew. After you select where you want to live you are set to go. You always have the option of changing where you want to live, and don’t forget to include your preferred roommate to cheapen the rent. Finally all that’s left is to enjoy your apartment and another year at Iowa State.
