Coach Bill Fennelly and the Cyclones picked up a junior college commitment from Texas on Thursday afternoon.

Jade Thurmon, a sophomore guard at Kilgore College in Kilgore, Texas, announced her commitment to the Cyclones on Twitter. 

“I thank all of my teammates and coaches who have helped me get this opportunity,” Thurmon said in the tweet. “Big 12 here I come!”

Thurmon, a 5-foot-7 guard, is averaging 20.8 points, 7.3 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 2.8 steals per game for the Lady Rangers this season. 

Thurmon’s commitment is the fourth from the Cyclones’ 2018 class
