On National Signing Day, Tayvonn Kyle became the first Cyclone to sign his letter of intent, except for the 18 early signees in December.

Kyle is a wide receiver out of Valdosta, Georgia, from Lowndes High School. The 6-foot wideout is a three-star prospect, according to 247Sports Composite. He’s ranked as the 102nd best receiver in the 2018 class. Kyle also ranks as the 137th best prospect from the state of Georgia.

In his senior season, Kyle hauled in 766 receiving yards on 42 receptions for 10 touchdowns. Kyle fielded offers from Georgia State, Illinois, Purdue, Indiana, Maryland, Wake Forest and a number of other Division I schools.

Kyle is the first wide receiver to sign today, but he is expected to be joined by four-star wide receiver Joseph Scates
