Iowa State women’s basketball coach Bill Fennelly received some good news late Thursday night.

Kylie Feuerbach, a class of 2020 prospect from Sycamore High School in Sycamore, Illinois, announced on Twitter Thursday that she was committing to play for Iowa State. Feuerbach is a 6-foot tall wing player, according to MaxPreps.

“I want to thank coach Fennelly and the entire women’s basketball program for this amazing opportunity,” Feuerbach said in her tweet. “It’s an honor to play for the same school my grandpa played at.”

Feuerbach’s grandfather, the late Dr. Orlyn Feuerbach, played basketball for the Cyclones from 1943-1945 and is in the Iowa State University Basketball Hall of Fame.

Feuerbach is Iowa State’s second commit in the 2020 class.
