Iowa State volleyball gets swept by Baylor down in Waco

After building a five-game win streak, the Iowa State volleyball was swept by the Baylor Bears (19-25, 22-25, 17-25) down in Waco, Texas this Saturday.

Usually, the Cyclones get solid production from Samara West and Jess Schaben. However, against the Bears, that wasn’t the case. West and Schaben only tallied four and eight kills, respectively. Alexis Conaway led the way for Iowa State with 10 kills.

With this loss, Iowa State fell to 17-5 and 7-4 in the Big 12.

The Cyclones will play again on Nov. 8, when they hit the road to take on the West Virginia Mountaineers.
