Senior vice president for university affairs announces resignation

Iowa State announced Thursday that Senior Vice President for University Services Kate Gregory will resign, effective Nov. 22. 

Gregory was hired in May 2016 to fill the newly created position of vice president for university services, which had been previously recognized as business and finance and was headed by Warren Madden.

Prior to coming to Iowa State, Gregory served on the board of directors of the  U.S. Department of Energy’s Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory in Batavia, Illinois.

Gregory assumed office on July 11, 2016 in which she oversaw facilities planning and management, business services, environmental health and safety, public safety, Reiman Gardens, University Museums and the WOI radio group.

According to Iowa State, an interim senior vice president for university services will be named in November.
