Iowa State’s Office of Diversity and Inclusion launched the 2017-2018 campus climate survey Tuesday, and will be live until Oct. 31.

Campus climate is described as “the current attitudes, behaviors, standards and practices of employees and students of an institution,” and is often shaped through personal experiences, perceptions and institutional efforts, according to the official campus climate website.

The purpose of conducting the survey is to gain feedback from students, faculty and staff on how to improve the climate at Iowa State.

The survey takes 20 to 30 minutes to complete and must be completed at one time. Those who complete the survey will be eligible to enter to win one of 10 gift cards valued at $50 each.

The results of the survey will be presented at public presentations during the spring semester. The results will also be made available online at that time.

The campus climate survey, as well as other information on campus climate at Iowa State, can be found here.

Editor’s note: this article has been updated to correct who conducted the survey and where to find it. A previous version of this article stated that the Office of Equal Opportunity conducted the survey, and had a link to the survey’s FAQ page instead of the survey.
