With his new single “Drew Barrymore” recently hitting over a million plays on Spotify and being featured on the app’s United States Viral 50 playlist, hip-hop artist Bryce Vine is one to watch. He will be performing in the M-Shop on Wednesday, October 5th at 8pm.

Bryce Vine released his latest EP, “Night Circus,” in March 2016 under the label Kiva House Lambroza and announced the upcoming release of his fourth EP, “Circus,” earlier this summer.

Born in New York and raised in Los Angeles, Vine credits his love for music to time spent on set with soap opera actress mother, Tracey Ross. After being eliminated from the reality show, “The Glee Project,” Vine attended Berkley College of Music where he met his current producer Nolan Lambroza.

Vine’s laid back, indie-rap, hip-hop sound gives off an infectious blend of both mellowness and honesty. A perfect combination of the east and west coasts, easily encompassing his own experiences.

He has performed and toured with acts such as Hoodie Allen, Gnash, Big Sean, G-Eazy, Ludacris, Andy Grammer and more. Vine’s music has also been featured in TV shows like X-Games and Survivor’s Remorse.

Vine’s success in college circuits and festivals is easy to understand given his intelligent lyrics inspired by this generation’s trials and his diverse yet addictive tunes. These attributes are sure to entertain and captivate those who attend his show.

Tickets are $10 for ISU students and $15 for the public. Tickets can be purchased at the M-Shop box office or online via Midwestix.com.
