On Thursday, Matt Campbell and his football staff secured its newest addition to the recruiting class of 2018 with Cleveland-native Mike Rose.

Rose was verbally committed to Ball State on June 26 and changed his mind to the Iowa State Cyclones on Thursday. He showed his latest decision via Twitter.

Rose is a linebacker at Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School in Broadview Heights, Ohio. He’s a three-star recruit, according to 247sports.com, and is No. 38 out of all Ohio prospects and the No. 83 outside linebacker in the nation.

Rose, a 6-foot-4 and 220-pound senior, was considering Ball State, Air Force, Colgate, Princeton, Lafayette and Iowa State.
