This time of year, no matter where you’re headed, finding something pumpkin spice flavored is not hard to do. Pumpkin spice lattes, muffins, even wine. It has grown to become a fascination to the fall season. 

But what exactly is this pumpkin spice flavoring all about? What ingredients go into the simple, yet sought after items with the description pumpkin spice?

While there are different variations of pumpkin spice depending on the item, it is constructed of only a few main ingredients that may be found in a lot of people’s kitchens right now.

The technical pumpkin spice mixture is made up of cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, allspice and cloves. Depending on how strong or subtle the desired outcome is, adding more or less of certain ingredients is important.

According to E! News, some new products that have hit the shelves this year in preparation for all of the pumpkin spice-loving fanatics are pumpkin spice coffee creamer, pumpkin spice flavored Milano cookies and pumpkin spice cheerios.

Some people do not like the taste, but enjoy the smell.

Some inedible products that could spice up your fall would be things like pumpkin spice scented candles, pumpkin spice scented nail polishes, lip balm, soaps and scrubs, body sprays and air fresheners.

These products can be found from stores like Target, Bath and Body Works, Yankee Candle, and many other department and specialty stores.
