The second day of the Badger Invitational in Madison, Wisconsin, concluded today, and the Iowa State men’s golf team is tied for fifth place.

The Cyclones (293-281) are tied with Nevada (285-289), both having a total of 574 throughout the first two rounds.

Texas A&M is still leading the competition at 560 (276-284), trailing behind them is Marquette 566 (289-277), after them are Kansas at 568 (288-280) and Notre Dame with 572 (292-280).

The Cyclones improved their performance as the team is now two under the par.

Redshirt senior Denzel Ieremia is three under par after shooting a 68 on the day. He had a eagle and four birdies, ranking him tied for eighth place overall out of 102.

True freshman Frank Lindwall scored a 70, this coming after staying in par for most of the holes. He bogeyed once but had three birdies to keep him two under par. He is tied for the 71st spot.

Also tied for 71st is sophomore Sam Vincent, who went six over par to score a 78 on the day. While he had three birdies today, his two bogeys and one five over pr kept him over par.

Fellow sophomore Tripp Kinney scored a 73 on this round to be tied for 25th. He had five bogeys and four birdies.

Freshman Lachlan Barker is now tied for 13th after scoring a 70. He had three bogeys but his three birdies and one eagle saved his score.

Individuals Conner Koberg, junior fired an 83. While freshmen Ricky Costello scored a 73, and Danny Daniels kept even at 72.

The Cyclones will conclude their three-day competition in Madison tomorrow.
