1. Morris signs deal with Nuggets– Monte Morris, former ISU basketball player, signed a two-way contract with the Denver Nuggets on Friday. Morris will play for both the Nuggets and the G-League (formerly known as the D-League).

2. Lindell Wigginton makes Cap City debut– Lindell Wigginton, recent five-star recruit for ISU basketball, made his Cap City League debut on Thursday. Wigginton started off strong with 36 points, nine rebounds, six assists, three steals and two blocks.

3. University opens temporary housing following lease-gap issue– The Department of Residence has opened up temporary on-campus housing for students affected by apartment lease-gaps. The temporary housing is available for students from Aug. 1 to Aug. 10.

4. Green Dot violence prevention training takes places for faculty and staff– Faculty and staff members participated in facilitator training to help implement a new violence prevention program on campus, Green Dot. Green Dot focuses on three different ways bystanders can prevent violence: direct intervention, delegate and distract.

5. Tim Allen tour added to Stephens Auditorium– Tim Allen is a comedian, actor writer, director, successful produced and best-selling author. Allen will bring his tour to Stephens Auditorium on Sept. 15, 2017 at 8 p.m. Tickets are available now at the Iowa State Center Ticket Office or through Ticketmaster.
