Tuesday, July 4th

4th of July Parade

Downtown Ames

11 a.m. 

The festivities will begin with a pancake breakfast at 8:30, followed by the parade at 11. The Bill Riley Talent Competition will take place from 9 to 11 a.m., and Dock Dog Jumping will be happening from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. WWII veteran Avon Hall will serve as the parade’s Grand Marshal.
