Smokin’ Oak Wood-Fired Pizza, the next restaurant to open facing Lake Laverne, will open its doors officially on Thursday, June 29.

The restaurant, with a fast casual dining experience, will be located at 2420 Lincoln Way, just a few doors down from Fuzzy’s Taco Shop and Jeff’s Pizza Shop.

Smokin’ Oak will have free pizza from 10:30 a.m. to midnight on June 29, where customers will be asked to interact with one of the Smokin’ Oak social media accounts.

“The first 100 guests will also receive a free gift bag with a sample of our branded apparel,” said Matt Mongoven, Chief Executive Officer of Smokin’ Oak Wood-Fired Pizza, in a release. “We are extremely excited to welcome everyone in Ames to visit us on June 29.”

You might want to find Smokin’ Oak on your social media of choice – or all of them – because they will be giving away free pizza ahead of the grand opening via their social media channels, including:

  • Free pizza for four
  • Free pizza every week in July
  • Free pizza every week in August
  • Tickets to the restaurant’s VIP event on June 22nd
