On June 26 at Ames’s Ada Hayden Park, the Ames Triathlon is a USA Triathlon sanctioned competition consisting of three separate events: the sprint triathlon, aqua bike and duathlon. Although all these races are challenging, only one, the sprint triathlon, pushes athletes to master three sports, swimming, biking and running.
