Postdoc Research Associate Kris Hayman holds a dairy calf’s head as veterinary medicine fourth year Faye Koosmann treated dairy cows at the ISU dairy farm on Dec. 5.Within the College of Veterinary Medicine, fourth year students can receive practical hands-on training by treating farmers’ livestock through Veterinary Field Services. Field services offer services to the ISU Dairy Farm and on-farm services for livestock producers in the Ames area.
