ISU professor to lecture on importance of Native studies

Sebastian Braun, director of Iowa State’s American Indian Studies program and associate professor of anthropology, will lecture Friday on Vine Deloria Jr. and why Native studies are important for a land-grant university.

Deloria Jr. was influential in Native studies and was an Iowa State graduate.

The lecture, which will be free to attend, will take place from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday in Carver 268.
