ISU women’s golf moves up to 4th with one round to go at Lady Puerto Rico Classic

The ISU women’s golf team shot a second round total of 291 (+3), which brings their tournament total to 585 (+9). The Cyclones are currently in 4th place with one round to go at the Lady Puerto Rico Classic in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico.

Iowa State’s second round score of 291 also marked the second best team score turned in for the round, only behind Arkansas who shot a 281.

Iowa State is now a total of 15 strokes behind the leader Arkansas who is sitting at a tournament total of 570 (-6).

The Cyclones were led in scoring by freshman Parinda Phokan and sophomore Nattapan Siritrai. They each shot scores of 70 (-2) and 72 (E) respectively.

The top of the individual leaderboard is currently shared by two golfers. Arkansas freshman Maria Fassi and Texas Tech sophomore Gabby Barker who have tournament totals of 139 (-5).
