The Iowa State softball team went a perfect 2-0 record on Feb. 12 to start off the new season. The first game, Iowa State defeated IUPUI 7-0 in a relatively easy manner. The second game was much closer for the Cyclones. The two teams were tied after nine innings and went into extra innings. The Cyclones won in ten innings on a walk off single by Cathlin Bingham.
